FULL DAY 4WD TOUR TO FRASER ISLAND (WITH LUNCH AND TOURING)

Enjoy a 4WD vehicle tour to Fraser Island. Cruise to Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. This World Heritage area is a constantly changing mosaic of sand dunes, crystal clear lakes, streams and towering luxuriant rain forest. Its an exhilarating drive along the wide 90 km of surf beach crossing the swiftly-flowing freshwater creeks. The beach surface is so firm that local aircraft land on it. See large mounds of shell middens, evidence of 1000s of years of aboriginal habitation. You may see the wild brumbies and dingoes that have made the island wilderness their home before arriving at Eurong Beach Resort. Enjoy a succulent barbeque lunch with fish, steak or Vegie burgers with fresh salads and fruits. Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks will be served. Reboard the 4WD coach and continue through dense rain forest to Central Station Forest Park. Stroll along the palm and fern-studded banks of Wanggoolba Creek, the most outstanding rain forest area on Fraser Island. Visit Lake Birrabeen a natural wonder a large freshwater lake perched high on the sand dunes. Clean your jewellery in the perfectly white silicone sands or take a quick dip in the cool clear water. Return to the southern end of the island via the inland road, skirting the old sand mines. The order may vary depending on beach and road conditions. Ferry back to the mainland and Noosa.
