Field Trip is planned to visit geophysically interesting places near Otaru.
- Usu volcano (visit craters created during the 2000 eruption)
- Lake Toya (Toya caldera, Usu volcano is located on its southern rim, stop for lunch)
- Showa-shinzan volcano (quite young volcano, also visit Mimatsu museum)
- Lake Shikotsu (Shikotsu caldera, Tarumae volcano is located on its southern rim)

Field Trip is free of charge including lunch and insurance.
Tentative schedule for the field trip is as follows. Please keep in mind that the arrival of the New-Chitose airport may delay due to unexpected reasons.
